What’s it like to be an angel
Raising hearts into the sky
Picking up someone who’s fallen
Will an angel tell me why

Wiping tears from someone’s eye
Lifting up someone who’s crawling
Won’t an angel tell me why
And then one day I met an angel
So beautiful I almost cried
She wears my ring
upon her finger
And she sleeps here by my side
